If someone contacts you saying they are from India Medical Cart, check before you pay.

We never ask you to pay into a personal bank account.

You pay the hospital directly, into the hospital's own account, and you get a receipt.

We never ask for your medical reports by WhatsApp or email.

Once a scan leaves your inbox, you have no idea where it goes, or who keeps a copy.

We send you a private link instead, and it expires.

Nobody can sell you a visa, and nobody can promise you a result.

If something feels wrong, stop, and contact us through our website.

Scams Reported in Some of the Countries We Serve

Bangladesh

On 6 August 2026, The Daily Star reported a warning from the High Commission of India in Dhaka. It said: "No official of the High Commission will ever contact you via phone, WhatsApp, social media, or email for the purpose of offering a visa or demanding money."

Kenya

In 2018, Kenyans.co.ke reported kickbacks of up to US$1,000 for each cancer patient referred to India. In 2017, Business Daily reported that 2 Indian nationals were deported for recruiting patients. It said the kickback was included in the patients' medical bills abroad.

This is why you pay India Medical Cart nothing, and pay the hospital directly.

Mauritius

In May 2026, Mauritian press (L'Express, Defimedia) reported that a minister criticised some foundations. They send patients with a terminal illness abroad "avec peu de chances réalistes" (with little realistic chance of benefit).

Defimedia reported on 9 May 2026 that public fundraising in Mauritius needs police permission. The Commissioner of Police gives it under the Public Collections Act.

Before you travel, ask your specialist in Mauritius whether treatment abroad is right for you.

Uzbekistan

On 14 January 2022, Daryo reported the case of a patient from Uzbekistan who owed money to a hospital in India. A fellow Uzbek who promised to help him stole his money.
