We help with cancer care, heart surgery, brain and spine surgery, and bone and joint surgery. We do not arrange living-donor organ transplants.
Before you trust any agent or office, check who they are. This page explains how.
Visa for Uzbek Citizens
- Most patients use India's e-Medical visa. Apply only on the official website, indianvisaonline.gov.in.
- The e-Medical visa fee for Uzbek citizens is US$80. The portal adds a 3% bank charge if you pay by card.
- The portal says the visa is valid for 365 days, with multiple entries.
- Apply at least 4 days before you arrive, and no more than 120 days before.
- You need your passport bio page and a letter from the Indian hospital, on its letterhead, with your planned admission date.
- Family members who come with you can apply for e-Medical Attendant visas. Up to 2 e-Medical Attendant visas can be granted for one e-Medical visa.
If You Apply for a Paper Visa Instead
The Embassy of India in Tashkent says a paper medical visa needs a recommendation letter from your doctor in Uzbekistan. The letter must name the Indian doctor, the hospital and the appointment date.

Getting to India
Direct and one-stop flights connect Tashkent with Delhi and Mumbai; check airlines for current schedules.
Paying for Treatment
- The hospital bills you directly. Pay only into the hospital's own bank account, and ask for a receipt.
- We never ask you to pay us, and we never accept cash.
- Before you travel, ask your bank whether your card works for payments in India.
- Ask the hospital for a written estimate before you pay any deposit.
Language and Food
Our coordinators speak English, Hindi.
If you prefer Russian or Uzbek, tell us. Some hospitals can arrange an interpreter, and we ask the hospital before you travel.
Tell us if you need halal food or a place to pray. We ask the hospital what is available nearby. Read more about staying in India.
Scams to Watch for in Uzbekistan
- On 14 January 2022, Daryo reported the case of an Uzbek patient who owed money to a hospital in India. A fellow Uzbek who promised to help took his money.
- Check a hospital's own official website before you trust an office or agent that uses its name.
- Contact India Medical Cart only through the details on this website. If someone says they work for us, check with us before you share documents or money.
- Never pay a person. Pay only the hospital, into its own account, and get a receipt.
- Apply for your e-Visa only on indianvisaonline.gov.in. Other websites can charge you more.
- Never pay anyone to find an organ donor. Buying or selling organs is a crime in India.
