Medical Disclaimer

India Medical Cart is a medical travel facilitator, not a hospital or a doctor. Medical opinions and treatment are provided by hospitals and doctors.
In a medical emergency, do not use this website, WhatsApp or email. Call your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital straight away.
We do not give medical advice
- We are not a hospital, clinic or doctor, and we do not employ the doctors who treat you.
- We do not diagnose, examine, treat or prescribe.
- Medical opinions, treatment plans and prescriptions come only from registered doctors at the hospitals.
- Our coordinators help you with enquiries, quotes and travel. They cannot tell you which treatment to have.
Information on this website is general
Our pages explain treatments in plain words. They are not a diagnosis and may not apply to you. Only a doctor who has reviewed your reports, and usually examined you, can say whether a treatment is right for you. Always follow the advice of your treating doctor, and talk to your own doctor at home before you decide.
Our treatment pages are written by our team from published health information, such as national health service pages and hospital information. They have not yet been reviewed by a doctor. Each page shows the date our team last reviewed it. If a doctor reviews a page in future, we will show the doctor's name and the review date on it.
Every treatment has risks
No one can promise the result of a treatment. Every operation and treatment has risks, and results differ from person to person. Your treating doctor will explain the likely benefits and risks for you.
Hospital stays and time in India shown on our pages are typical ranges. Your own plan may be shorter or longer. Your doctor decides when you are fit to fly home.
Prices and quotes
- We show a price range only when the hospital has confirmed it, with the month it did so, and only for 12 months after that. Each range is shown in the currency stated next to it.
- A range is a guide, not a quote. The hospital sends your written quote after reviewing your reports.
- The final bill can change after doctors examine you in India, for example if you need extra tests or days in hospital, or have a complication. Ask the hospital to explain what its quote includes and excludes, in writing.
Accreditations and profiles
An accreditation shown on a hospital page belongs to that hospital. We show who issued it and until when it is valid, and we hide it after it expires. An accreditation is a sign that a hospital meets certain standards. It does not promise the result of your treatment.
Doctor and hospital profiles give facts, not rankings. We do not rank doctors or hospitals. Read our editorial policy.
Medical reports
Please do not send medical reports through our forms, WhatsApp or email. When a hospital needs your reports, we will give you a secure way to send them. Read about sending medical reports safely.
Video consultations
If a hospital doctor offers you a video consultation, it is between you and the hospital doctor. The doctor and hospital are responsible for it. Rules on online consultations differ between countries, so ask the hospital how it works for you.
