Please do not send medical reports by WhatsApp or email. Please do not add them to the enquiry form either. We send you a secure link instead.
Why Not WhatsApp or Email?
- Messages and emails are easy to forward to the wrong person by mistake.
- Copies stay on phones, in chat backups and in email inboxes. They are hard to delete later.
- WhatsApp's own rules for businesses say businesses should not ask people for health documents in chat.
- Please do not post reports in family or community groups, or send them to anyone who is not your coordinator.
How Our Secure Link Works
- You send your enquiry. Tell us the treatment area, not your full medical history.
- A coordinator contacts you and explains which reports the hospitals need.
- We send you a secure link for your enquiry. You use it to share your reports.
- Sending the form does not send your details to any hospital. Before we ask hospitals for quotes, we tell you which hospitals we will ask. We share your reports only with the hospitals you agree to. Their doctors review them and send written opinions and quotes.
Your private link works for seven days from when we send it, and we can revoke it if it is no longer needed. You can send PDF, JPEG or PNG files - up to 10 files, each under 20 MB. If your scans are a zip file or in DICOM format, contact us and we will arrange another way to send them.
Only use a link that your coordinator sent you. If you are not sure a message is from us, write to care@indiamedicalcart.com and check it first. Read Beware of scams.
Which Reports Help the Doctors?
This is a general guide. The hospital tells you if it needs more.
-
Cancer Care
Your biopsy report, your scans and their reports, and details of any treatment you have already had.
-
Heart Care
Your angiography report, echo (heart scan) report, ECG report and a list of your medicines. For a child, add letters from the child's doctor at home.
-
Brain and Spine
Your MRI or CT reports and the scan images, any X-rays, and a note of your symptoms.
-
Joints and Bones
Your X-rays, MRI reports and details of your general health.
- For every treatment, a letter from your doctor at home and a list of your medicines help.
- If you have the scan images as well as the written report, share both.
- Ask the hospital how recent your scans must be. If they are old, it may ask for new scans.
Before You Share: Remove Extra Personal Details
- Keep your name, age and the date on each report, so doctors can match the reports to you.
- Cover or remove details the doctors do not need, such as your home address, national ID number, bank details or insurance numbers.
- Share only reports about the patient and the condition you are asking about, unless the hospital asks for more.
Who Sees Your Reports
- Your coordinator, and the doctors at the hospitals you agree to. We do not share your reports with anyone else unless the law requires it.
- Each hospital's doctors give their own written opinion, so you can compare them.
- We never ask for reports on WhatsApp or by email. If someone does this in our name, it is not us.
- You can ask us to delete your reports. Write to privacy@indiamedicalcart.com with your reference, for example IMC-XXXX.
Our privacy notice explains what information we keep, why we keep it, for how long, and your rights.
